6/15 Sean Kershaw makes his triumphant return to Hank's ! We just got back from recording a cd down in Mebene, NC. It was a fast and furious session but you would expect no less from the fearless Sean. We are now playing every third sunday at Hank's. Come down and feel the power !

Well I haven't been keeping up with my internet self promotion these days. I've been so busy rockin for the people on my steel guitar that I have been neglecting the internet. I figured it would get by fine without me for a couple weeks. I was thinking about learning how to work on my website because it is getting patheticly out of date. But every time I think about learning that stuff I find myself more interested in transrcibing a Johnny Hodges solo. Or walking around with my dog. Or eating a cookie. Or taking a nap....

May 30 daytime private party for the legendary Ricky from Hank's at the Cowgirl Hall of Fame. It will be daytime and weird. I helped open up that place back when I had a job about 20 years ago. One of my first steel guitar gigs was playing with Patsy Montana at the Cowgirl back then. I was one of those mid level management guys with a couple screws loose that just sorta wandered off the grid. The things I wanted cost time instead of money and the job thing was really cutting into my day.

FEb 8th Jan Bell at Superfine which used to be a haven for lesbians, scruffy artists and the occasional lost person wondering how to get to manhattan that figured what the heck might as well get drunk with these guys. Now the well groomed masses have discovered it along with there families powerful credit ratings. Its still a great place though.

If those assholes are still there I will skip the part were they dick me around and get straight to the part where I club them with a leg off my pedal steel. Anyway whatever happens I'm planing on having a big time. Andrew is a talented guy and if you are into the pedalsteel its just Andrew ,me and Tim Quigley on drums so I will be busy.

Dec 9 With Sean Kershaw. Get down to Hank's while you still can. I play my pedalsteel in this honky tonk free for all. Sean is writing more new songs and getting a very cool thing happening.
