Feb 18th 8:00 I'm playing with Stuffy Schmitt at The Living Room . Stuffy is a great writer/singer and the band is rocking.
Feb 28th at 9:00 I'm playing with my own band at Jalopy in Brooklyn. We will be playing some of my own new music/ improvisational compositions along with other pieces with a few of the greatest players on the planet in a jazz quartet format.
Bob Hoffnar - pedal steel guitar
Jacob Sacks - keyboards
Chris Lightcap - double bass
Dan Weiss - drums
This will be a good chance to see the pedalsteel played in a non idiomatic role.
Rob Ready will be playing later that night.
Feb 22 12:00 midnight New music/jazz at Hank's with Jonathan Haffner. Details later.
March 5th 8:00 I will be playing solo set with arialist Lisa Natoli at
Monkeytown in Brooklyn. Mark your calendars for this one ! We have been putting quite a bit of work into this.
